Will this work on my dog's breed and coat type?
The Ardenmo comb is designed for medium to long-haired dogs and cats with a double coat or dense undercoat — breeds like Golden Retrievers, Huskies, German Shepherds, Maine Coons, and similar. If your pet has a very short single-layer coat, a standard slicker brush will serve them better.
Is it safe to use near the skin?
Yes. The teeth are shaped to move through the coat and undercoat without digging into the skin when used with normal, gentle pressure. As with any grooming tool, let the comb do the work — don't force it through heavy mats in one stroke.
How often should I groom with it?
